Wanton Pastry, frozen - individual sheets for making wanton. Wanton pastry is basically wanton noodle pastry with added eggs, marking the skin smooth and tasty. Once defrosted, keep refrigerated and use within 7 days.
Wanton pastry is popularly used with Guangzhou-style dim sum. Simply add different fillings, and different cooking methods, such as boiling, steaming or frying and you’ll have a range of dim sum dishes.
To Cook - remove the pastry from freezer. Once defrosted, use to wrap meat or vegetables. Bring sufficient water to the boil; cook them in boiling water till they float to the top and drain water. Serving in hot boiling soup or add dumplings to pre-heated oiled skillet & pan-fry till golden brown.
